Some people conquer spring cleaning over a weekend. I prefer to do it over over many weekends. I can only handle this task in small spurts. Yesterday, I started with jeans. I still need to go through more jeans (again, I can only handle bits of closet cleaning at a time), but I took two pairs that I hadn't worn in years and recycled them. I took them to my local J. Crew (Madewell also participates in this offering) and received a $20 off a new pair card for each pair. J Crew has partnered with Cotton Incorporated to donate the jeans to the Blue Jeans Go Green denim recycling program. What happens to your donated denim? The jeans are recycled into insulation. It's a win-win for everyone. I purchased the pair above because I love button fly jeans and they received stellar reviews. I agree with the positive feedback and the recommendation to size down one size. You can find out more about them here. So, when you're spring cleaning, don't forget about your jeans and the chance to recycle them at your local J. Crew or Madewell.
I love a good stripe and I have a ton of colors, but I don't have this fresh, fun color combo. It's on sale during J. Crew's President's day sale, so you need to be quick.
If you're planning a warm weather vacation, this may come in handy. The multicolor pom poms help you to pair this with practically anything. And, when you're on vacation, who cares? While it works for day, This galaxy clutch works for evening and looks really expensive.
If you're looking to inject some energy into an outfit, these will do the job perfectly.
This tunic is so easy. If you want to look put together but you short on time, throw this on with white jeans and sandals and you're out the door.
These are on my radar.
These low-tops come in two other colors and the high-tops in one other color. The versions pictured are my favorites.
These are the perfect work/weekend pant for spring.
The dark background makes this a good transitional dress. Grab a chunky black cardigan and a pair of booties for now and wear it as pictured later.
These and these are made by Malone Souliers (new to me) and splurge-worthy purchases. They are for the person who is conservative and minimalistic but likes a slight bit of edge.

This Chanel inspired jacket is a bit of a splurge, but it's a classic that you'll wear over and over again. The cost per wear justifies the purchase with this one.
