What's Chic This Week
I have this cotton sweater in black and love it, so I decided to go for another color. I had a hard time deciding between the tan and the grey. I ultimately went for the grey and was lucky enough to be in the store when they had a women doing embroidery. I had my initials put on my sleeve in red.
I went to the new ME+EM store on Madison Ave. I will say that a group of staff members took way too long to greet me, which bothers me. Finally, an associate that wasn’t in that group came up to me and she was lovely. I went to try on pants that I had seen on Instagram and they didn’t work. I ended up buying this dress, which ran big. I bought a size 2.
When I was at ME+EM, one of the sales associates was wearing this dress and it was incredibly chic and looked incredible on her.
I posted this already but now that I bought it, I wanted to provide some details. It runs big. I sized down to XXS, and I usually wear a small. Also, some of the reviews online said it was heavy. The skirt may be heavy and that’s because it’s long and there’s a lot of material (yes, I must get it shortened), but the top part is light cotton poplin. It has an adjustable drawstring waist and a zip up top. I always appreciate dresses that you can customize. I think it will be great for hot temps and, and added bonus is that it makes your waist look tiny. It’s also available in white.
A reasonably priced blank canvas of a dress. Change it up with accessories.
I love the print on this throw on and go top.
I love this statement necklace so much. It’s a neutral that will play well with everything in your wardrobe. I have a very similar necklace, so it’s taking restraint not to buy it.
If you are into the Jelly trend started by the Row, these are a less expensive option and they are available in several colors.
This dress is a steal and you don’t need to steam it! It’s currently 40 percent off, so I would jump on it if you are interested.
Thanks for visiting!
