The Sunday six

This cotton poplin dress is on its way to me. I plan to cover up the elastic waist with my Isabel Marant Lecce belt dupe. I think it will look great as the weather gets cooler paired with a black or camel blazer or a long cardigan, tall black or camel boots or loafers or even the clogs I just bought that you’ll read about below.

Speaking about clogs, I love them. I think it stems from my mom not letting me wear the red clogs my Danish neighbor brought me back from a trip to Denmark. She was worried they were dangerous because they didn’t have an ankle strap. I have a pair of pricey brown clogs from Loeffler Randall (pictured below) that I don’t wear as often as I should but wanted a black pair and didn’t want to spend a lot if I won’t wear them often, so these fit the bill. I loved the texture, the height and the price of the faux shearling pair below.

In addition to the Loeffler Randall clogs with the knot detail that I have in my wardrobe seen below, I listed a few options at different price points.

This perfectly preppy classic will arrive next week. I’m leaning into the preppy aesthetic by wearing it with a cashmere sweater around my shoulders, a pair of chinos, pearls and loafers.

The brand that makes my favorite striped tees came out with the perfect fall color combo that you don’t typically see, so naturally I didn’t hesitate to buy it.
