I went to Soho this weekend to see my friend Haley. My feet hurt when I got home, so you know we covered a lot of ground. I was a good girl and didn’t buy a lot of what I liked but didn’t love. We went to Sezane, Freda Salavdor, Mango, Dean and Deluca, Clare V, Matta, Flannel, Lively and a few more that I can’t recall. I came home with a lipstick (a present for not buying Chanel shoes that were 15 percent off), a blouse from Mango listed below, a shirt from the MZ Wallace & La Ligne shirt and bag collaboration (bought the shirt and it’s perfection) and Tory Burch heels (Friday Night purchase) that were on a great sale. They look uncomfortable but are actually pretty comfortable for a pointy toe high heel. So, that’s the summary and now for the good stuff….

I love Linda Rodin, so it’s no surprise I fell in love with her Tough Tomato lipstick. I saw it on a makeup artist on Instagram and that was it for me. The lipstick has oils in it, so it feels really great on your lips. It’s a bright orange red makes almost all skin tones come to life. I love red/orange all year long but many people like this color in the summer with a tan.

Below is the latest white blouse that I added to my growing collection. Anyone else have a slight obsession like this? I’m also obsessed with red lipsticks, long dresses and skirts, stripes and anything Loeffler Randall.

I went to Sezane this weekend to see if they if they had the Paola blouse (pictured below - It’s the short sleeve white blouse - yes another white blouse) in store (they didn’t). I’ll have to keep checking the site. I tried the red dress with white flowers., and while I liked it a lot, didn’t love it. I’m really trying to put more thought into what I’m buying. I’ve linked some of my favorites below..

I’m a huge fan of stripes because I love the classics. With that said, I’m obviously a fan of the brand La Ligne, which just opened a store close to my apartment. When I heard they were collaborating with MZ Wallace on a limited edition MZ Wallace x La Ligne NY-cœur Tee and a line of bags, I knew I had to check it out. The bags are featured online and in MZ Wallace stores. If you want the shirt, you need to call either MZ Wallace stores in NYC or La Ligne. I’m not sure where it’s being sold. I picked mine up at their collaboration pop up store in Soho that is closing today. I’ll post it on Instagram tonight. You can see the tee and one of the bags below from La Ligne’s Instagram. I’ve also pasted just two of the bags in the line below. They are lightweight and come in many sizes, so they are great for traveling.
