Accessory Overload
Small changes for a transition between seasons
I'm trying to invest in accessories and not clothes as we get closer to fall, so I bought the bejeweled collar above that you can find here. I want to wait until everything for fall is out there before I invest. Accessories are such and easy way to transform an outfit and give it new life. I signed up to be notified when this white version is back in stock. There's a pink version available, but I didn't think it was versatile enough for my wardrobe.
I always find myself drawn to animal prints when fall rolls around. This silk scarf is a different way for me to incorporate the print into my wardrobe. I can wear in now and when it gets colder. I like that it can upgrade a simple tee and elevate a plain button down without trying too hard. I also love the mustard striped trim because I love mustard, olive and rust for fall. If you're curious what the tigers are saying, I looked it up and they are saying, "stripes are always in fashion." I would agree!!
Anthropologie always has a nice selection (see first two photos in the first row) and black and white is always a classic combo. You can find the polka dot scarf here and striped version here, but my favorites are the Claire Vivier Oui scarfs in the last row that come in black and white and blush. I love statement earrings and I don't want to stop wearing them when fall arrives, so I'm going to opt for gold tones, which work with all the colors I love for fall. Some of my favorites are below. I already started to buy a few from the list including the Orbit (very large but love), Cascading Disc (large but don't look as big as the Orbit), and I just ordered the geometric metal pendants.
