Long weekend loves

I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend (if you were lucky enough to have Thursday and Friday off.) My sister and her husband came through town on their way back from their vacation on their way home to North Carolina. It was nice to see them but even better to see how happy it made my parents to see them (even if it was very brief).

Not sure if it’s the weather but feeling lethargic and basically pretty blah right now. Maybe it’s because my sleep schedule and routine is off? Anyone else feel the same way?

On the way to visit my folks I had time to kill, so I checked my Zara app for the new items. I spotted this midi floral dress, which I bought about a month and a half ago in a different colorway. When I saw this version I had to have it because the silhouette fit really well and looks far more expensive than Zara.

I love a good basic with a twist. This peter pan collar poplin blouse is a good example.

Williams-Sonoma is having a really good sale right now.

I’m not a fan of plain white dinnerware or your typical glassware. I prefer color and pattern, so here are some of my favorites:

I love Ina Garten and I love Gazpacho (had it twice over the holiday weekend and would eat it everyday if I could), so the two combined has to be a winner. You can find her easy recipe here. It’s perfect starter for a summer dinner party.

I’ve been stalking this dress since I saw it on someone I follow who has fabulous taste. It’s on sale for a steal, just hope it fits. Knowing me and my luck, it won’t. Fingers crossed. I ordered it from Matchesfashion.com, which is frequently cheaper or on sale compared to the same items sold here in the states. For example, this dress was on sale on Matches ($165) and not on sale on Shopbop ($225) Shipping and returns are free too. I got my Golden Goose sneakers from this site last year during a Memorial Day sale.

I’m a fan of wearing fun sets that look like pajamas but aren’t. Now there’s a company that makes pajamas that made to be seen on the street. They’ve recently expanded to make dresses that aren’t pajamas but are just as comfortable. One of my favorites is below and you can read about the company here.

As always, thanks for taking the time to visit. Let me know what you’re loving or what you’d like to see here.
