Stuff for spring
If you’ve ever been to California, you may be aware of Olive & June, which is a an adorable nail salon chain that I wish would come to NYC. You can now buy their Pretty polish that’s 7-Free — which means it doesn’t contain dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, or xylene — online. It’s also vegan & cruelty-free. The colors are perfect for spring and summer. You can get them here.
Picture top to bottom Barrett, Eva, Caroline, Geri, Mandy and Tara.
Barrett - icy light blue
Eva - barely-there shade
Caroline - Cool, creamy neutral that plays nice with all skin tones
Geri -Opaque, goes-with-everything baby pink for a glowy, goes-with-everything mani.
Mandy - A universally flattering, ever-so-slightly toasted neutral
Tara - Almost-pastel lavender with perfect balance of grey undertones.
You can also get The Poppy, a polish bottle handle that makes painting your nails easier and faster. It fits over the cap of your any polish cap for a comfortable grip and more control. I do my own nails, so I’m dying to try this.
I love white dresses, but I typically don’t buy them because I can’t keep them clean. This year, I may take the risk starting with the Aude Dress and the Gaia Dress

According to Madewell, “The New Denim Project takes textile leftovers from mills and upcycles them into brand-new fabric (even their manufacturing waste gets turned into compost for local coffee beans). Madewell with them on a collection.” You can see the entire collection here. My favorites in the collection are:
