September style
Just got these cuties in the mail. They are the perfect size — noticeable but not too big and totally adorable.
These cashmere crop mocknecks are a great basic and just $70. This style is available in other colors but these are my favorites. So many sweaters are too oversized on me and look too casual for work but these look like the perfect silhouette that can be tucked in or left out of high waisted pants or skirts. I also love this wrap silk top in this fabulous fall color. I think it would look just as great under a blazer as it would on it’s own.
My shopbop weekly picks have a few splurges and a few saves but all are easy and just require some basics that you probably already have in your wardrobe to complete the look — a black blazer or leather jacket or turtleneck, brown boots. You get the picture.
I love this sweater so much I bought it in black and cream. It looks great with pants and skirts, and if you’re not a huge fan of the puff sleeve, this one isn’t over the top.
I took a trip to Zara once I built up enough of a list. My sizes at Zara are all over the map, so I have to try everything on. Here’s what I bought:
flower shell earrings - This is $20 well spent. I’ll wear these a ton.
pleated button skirt - I bought this same skirt without buttons because of the fit and it’s a classic. These skirts reminds me of the Celine fall 2019 show. I’ll be wearing my skirts with tall boots, which I did last year because I love the look.
snakeskin print dress - Doesn’t look like much on the hanger but when you put it on it’s adorable and you buy it like I did.
poplin blouse - Very Victorian. Even if I wear a cardigan or blazer, you can still see the pretty lace detail, so it’s not just a plain white blouse.
ruffled midi skirt - This skirt is the foundation for the black puff sleeve sweater that I mentioned above. It only needs a black or grey turtleneck, boots and a leather jacket and you’re done.
