This week's fab five

Tory Burch sent me a $50 code for my birthday, so I went to her site and straight for the sale section, obviously. I typically don’t buy items that I can’t wear immediately (hello, instant gratification), but this dress caught my eye when it first debuted quite a while ago. It was also on my sale pick list in my previous post. There was also a promo going on if you used the code Extra, which took 25 percent off the sale price. The $50 code with the sale and then the markdown, it was a no brainer to order it. Hoping it fits. Most sizes are still in stock if you like it and can wait until spring.

Yes, I went back for more. I bought this sweater in the navy but kept thinking about the heather sand. When i checked the site, there were 12 left in stock, so I bought it. It’s slightly cropped, so I didn’t size down, which I do often in Everlane tops. I loved the details (buttons, mock neck, and pocket), and it’s the perfect weight to make it wearable in almost every season. You can wear it over a cotton turtleneck or a tee. I also bought their stacked high heel version of their day heel in black that was part of the “choose what you pay” campaign. I went up a half size and took an 8. I wanted to see if they were comfortable before ordering them in pecan. They are indeed comfortable and I need more tan and browns in my wardrobe, so I added the Pecan to my bag, and at $58, it’s such a steal.

This dream of a sweatshirt is on promotion at J. Crew. It’s extremely soft brushed terry on the outside, so be prepared to touch yourself a lot. I also love it because it’s the perfect length for me, which is rare. Most sweatshirts are too long. The white and fresh melon have contrasting seams that add the perfect extra special little detail that makes a big difference. I didn’t think I needed it until I left the store and thought about it for days. It’s the only thing I want to wear lately.

Blouse crush alert. I just love this blouse so much. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s a classic and won’t go out of style. It would be great for work with a skirt or slacks and heels and would look just as great with jeans and flats on the weekend. It’s now going on my sale watch list.
