New & Notable - Hump Day Edition

I'm a big fan of Iris Apfel's attitude, personality and her sense of style.  At 96, she doesn't have a filter, and it's clear she dresses for herself and not to please others.  I also love that she commands attention in a world where you feel invisible once you turn 40.  She's proof that style is ageless. Yes, I love to see the runway shows during NYFW, but the street style snaps are what I really look forward to scrolling through. This year is no different. I featured some shots in my last post, but Vogue has added to the album, so I've provided the updated collection here. The shot below, by Phil Oh, features one of my fashion idols, Taylor Tomasi Hill who never disappoints.

I've always been a fan of Oscar de la Renta's designs. When he passed away, I was concerned that the next person to take over the fashion house may change the aesthetic of the brand, but when I saw Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia's Spring 2018 collection, it seemed as if they channeled him and he was guiding their every move.
