What's Chic This Week.

I already own this black cashmere relaxed tee and realized I needed it in grey as well. I sized down to an XS. It’s a great basic that upgrades your typical tee and adds a gently relaxed vibe to every outfit.

I now have these linen pants in three colors. I have enough skirts and dresses for warmer temps but struggle to find polished pants that work for the office. As soon as I saw these were part of the friends-and-family sale I grabbed them.

I have a ton of white dresses, and a few aren’t quite work appropriate, so I grabbed this classic during a friends-and-family sale. It’s a timeless piece that practically begs for cute accessories. The red flats below would be adorable with this.

This is one of my favorite colors, so when I saw it was included in the Friends and Family sale and that it was cashmere, I couldn't resist and I caved.

This was an unexpected love. I typically steer clear of prints because I tend to get bored of them quickly and find that many restrict my wardrobe choices, but there’s something about this particular pattern. It instantly reminds me of summer. Another one where the red flats below would be adorable.

I bought this blazer because I have a very similar one from last year and I wear it several times a week, so I figured I needed a reliable backup. The flattering cut works especially well with voluminous skirts or flowing dresses and pairs nicely with baggier, relaxed-fit pants.

I tried these and really loved the red shade. They come in whole sizes only. I wear a 7.5, and the 38 was a perfect, comfortable fit. These are now on my wish list. Like the items that follow, I would have grabbed this, but I just bought an expensive dress to wear to my niece’s wedding.

I also finally got to try this cashmere-cotton blend cardigan — it felt really soft and cozy. It runs big, so I sized down to an XS. I couldn’t decide between the navy and ivory stripes or going with a solid. Need to look at my closet and decide what works best.

This is the perfect cardigan that, like the jacket above, pairs well with flowy or baggy bottoms, offering a relaxed yet polished layer. And when you need a slightly more fitted top but can’t wear a tee at work, it provides a smart alternative.

I fell in love with this blue skirt the moment I saw it. I didn’t realize at first that it came with a matching top, which made the whole set feel even more special. The fabric gives it an elevated look — a touch more formal than your usual linen or cotton skirt — so it feels polished without being stiff. I sized down to an XS for a sleeker fit. Some of the subtle details that make it stand out aren’t obvious at first glance, but they really elevate the piece.

If you want summer jeans, may I suggest the airy denim line. I have the Dean Easy Street in airy denim. They are so comfortable and lightweight. I bought them in petite after trying them in store. I like them so much, I’m thinking about buying the baggy version.

If you want Doen for less, this is your pick.

I’m a sucker for a pretty white blouse.

If I didn’t have a collection of white skirts, I would add this one.

Cute jacket alert.

In the '90s, CBK walked into Selima’s shop and bought these iconic frames. Now you can get them!

Three new products I want to try. I typically buy the shadow stick in Moonlight, but I think I want to try something different this time — it can be used as a shadow or a liner, which makes it perfect for people who feel unsure about applying eyeshadow. It’s also ideal for travel since there’s no worry about breakage. The Urban Decay eye pen has a slanted tip that would be excellent for creating a precise wing. The K-19 product is aimed at us fake blondes who need to tone down brassiness. I love when products come in mini versions so I can test them out before committing.

As I mentioned above, I’m attending my niece’s wedding this summer and needed a more formal dress. I tried so many options before finding the right one. It’s hard to find a style where you can comfortably wear a bra, works for petites, that isn’t too frilly, stays under $1,000, and still looks timeless enough to wear again. I finally landed on this dress and feel confident it will work for the occasion and beyond.

Thanks for visiting!
