What's Chic This Week
I finally was able to get to the store to try these new barrel jeans. They were completely sold out except for the new Driftwood Brown color that is actually olive, and I ended up taking them home. I thought I’d need a petite but, per the sales associate, they are actually cropped, so the regular was great. I have many blue jeans and the black is a washed black that I don’t love if I wanted to wear them to work, so I went with the brown/olive because they were unique.
I tried these in my typical size and they were very comfortable. More colors and suede options are also available.
If you are looking for tall boots, I saw these and they are a good price with a comfortable/walkable heel. The black are identical to my Reformation Remy boots that were almost $500.
I fell in love with these brown suede bags. The indigo was beautiful too but brown screams fall to me. These are also available in leather too but I’m a sucker for texture.
These belts are so good. They are a great way to transition summer clothes into fall. I have the non studded version in black and silver below and just bought the brown suede. I saw the olive suede and it was really good too. The store didn’t have the studded version. If they did, I would have left with the red.
Here are the pieces from the hero image at the top of the blog. Love the more formal blazer paired with more casual jean. The items are great together and they work well seprately too.
