What's Chic This Week
You will see a few pieces from last week’s post and that’s because I took a trip to J Crew because there’s a 30 percent off using code SPRING that ends on March 10 at 11:59 pm ET. I had a list to stick to, which I recommend.
This one was already sold out in my size at the store, so a size 4 is on its way. It’s such an easy and comfortable option due to its adjustable waist. It’s perfect to wear to my office and on the weekend, which makes it a smart choice.
I also bought these warmer weather weight (really liked the material) black barrel pants in a size 27, which is my typical size. They are available in khaki and white. Again, another one that works for work or weekend.
I bought the white in a size 4 as seen as the hero image of this week’s post. I’ll be transparent that the skirt is a bit transparent. LOL. I always wear nude undergarments, but, in my option, you still need a half slip. It’s also available in navy and khaki if you don’t want to deal with a slip. I like that the back has a small elastic band, so you can wear a belt without the elastic showing.
Speaking of slips, I own this one. I sized up to prevent tugging.
I had to try this slightly oversized stretch linen blend blazer in blue because it was the only color in store. I have a black linen blazer already, but the contrast piping detail makes this special. You lose this detail in the blue because it features the same color blue of the blazer for the piping. If you don’t need black or blue, it’s also available in khaki with black piping.
I was able to try these in red and they are supportive (they have a Birkenstockish footbed), comfortable and run tts. I love them but, and I’d get them in chocolate suede, but I’m on the fence because my feet are horrible. If you have nice feet, go for it.
They didn’t have this one in store, but I think I want to monogram it anyway.
I remembered I wanted to try this on once I got to the register when I saw someone buying it.
These weren’t in stock, so similar to the jacket above, they remain on my need to try list.
Thanks for visiting.
