What's Chic This Week

I don’t have the time or energy to create gift guides. There are already so many out there that I’m sick of them, so I won’t add more to the already huge selection. Hopefully, I have a few things in my weekly blogs that help if you need it. I find that monthly subscription gifts like flowers, audiobooks/books or, in my case, my mom got me a Netflix subscription so that we could watch The Great British Baking Show together, are practical and something to look forward to every month.

I saw these city dessert plates in person today and they are adorable. I think they would be really fun for the holidays. Guests can discuss the city they received and if they have a story to tell about it. Obviously, the NYC plate is my favorite.

I bought these today. I wasn’t planning on buying jeans, but I tried them and they were perfect. No hemming required! I sized one size down. You would never know they have a bow leg or baby barrel because it’s so subtle. I didn’t realize it until I read the label. They are the perfect or petites.

Throw on a white cashmere crewneck, black jeans and loafers and you’re done.

Cute clips.

Love the leather collar detail.

No necklace needed.

A classic belt that won’t set you back hundreds of dollars.

My favorite candle this time of year.

My mom recently bought a cashmere short sleeve tee from Quince and loved it, so I’m researching which style to try. What a great gift, no?

I’m very tempted. The clog version that I see everywhere is cute but I love how these cover your ankles.

Two black tops that could easily be dressed up or down for the holidays and beyond. I’d love either with black bottoms and heels..

An easy way to add life to your winter coat. I’d be really happy if I received this as a gift. Leopard print is a neutral, so you don’t have to worry that it won’t work with the recipient's outerwear.

Thanks for visiting.
