The Sunday seven

This shirt is a winner. I bought it in the blue and white stripe and I’m tempted to get it in white. It’s a beautifully made basic with a twist of a statement sleeve thrown in. It does run big, so I recommend that you size down.

Another timeless basic in a luxurious fabric — cashmere. I bought a small and it’s still roomy. I paired this shell with the blue and white striped puff sleeve blouse that I recommended above but it would look great over so many tops even with a basic white tee and a pair of jeans or sweats.

This is the type of sweater that will become the one you grab most often. I bought the navy and if I didn’t I have something similar in white, I’d be buying the ivory color too. I bought a small but it runs a tad big, so I probably could have sized down but it still works.

These didn’t get great reviews from the two people that have reviewed them so far but I don’t pay attention to reviews. I like to make my own decision because everyone’s body and sense of style is different. Vive la difference! They do run a tad big and they weren’t cropped on me but I’m 5’2. I bought a small but I think I could have bought an XS. In my opinion, these are meant to be paired with a good basic because they are a bit busy and bold should be the hero or statement piece. I’ll pair them with the fisherman sweater above in navy or white or top them with a plain white button down (again, these should be the star) or a tee with the cashmere shell or cardigan on top. If you like them, give them a try and see if they work for you.

This one hasn’t arrived yet but this style typically works for me because I’m curvy and I need to define my waist. I also can’t resist a Liberty print.

I’ve always wanted to try Gucci Westman’s clean beauty line. I heard that Gwyneth Paltrow is a huge fan of her mascara and her products also have great reviews, so we’ll see if her products live up to the hype and are worth the cost. I have to say the packaging is very chic, so we aren’t starting at zero. I have sensitive skin, I’m allergic to many products (I’ve actually lost plenty of eye lashes from some mascaras) and my mom had breast cancer, so I’ve been gravitating towards clean products for the past few years now that there are plenty of brands to choose from and I’m more focused on my health as I get older. I’m excited to try them to see if any of them end up on my must have list. I’ll let you know.

I’ve had this sweater in my cart for weeks. I kept it in my cart for so long, a lot of the colors sold out and won’t be restocked for months. I finally pulled the trigger before all colors sold out. I love the polo style and that it’s cashmere. I bought it in black but debated getting the navy, so hop on it if your love this classic preppy style.
