A little of this, A little of that

A little of this, A little of that

Aren't these gorgeous?  They are jewelry for your feet. They are on sale and selling out fast, so get on it if you want them.

Just add booties, tights, a thin turtleneck (Uniqlo Heattech is supposed to be really warm, you can find them here)  and a long cardigan or leather jacket to make this printed dress or this floral dress work as it gets cooler.

Now that the weather is getting cooler and the sun is setting earlier, this sweatshirt may come in handy. I just love Cynthia Rowley's quirky designs.

shearling combat boots ( I would call these hiking boots but let's go with it) will keep you warm and save you from slipping. I happen to love something more masculine paired with something more feminine, so I would pair these with a leather jacket and a dress.  They would also look cute with leggings and a sweatshirt on the weekends.  I'm not sure which color I like better.

How cool is this brown bag?

This one is by Cafune called the "Egg Bag" is so cute. It also comes in this color.  I'm always interested in new bag designers.  It seems like the era of having certain designer names is weakening a bit and folks are gravitating to new emerging designers (Cafune - the two "egg" bags below), Senreve or Staud are just three of many) a bit more.

These ballet flats are a great basic. They also have a Chanel vibe, which is never a bad thing. These pink leather mules look more expensive than they are and are visually interesting. They are from Zara.  Unfortunately, they are sold out in my size and a few others, but you can check store availability to see if they are still available. I've gotten lucky using this service.

I have a pair of slides in yellow that I wore a ton and they were as comfortable as bedroom slippers, so this burgundy pair from  Jeffrey Campbell , which could be a nice fall replacement. They are very similar to these from The Row

This cardigan with it's muted colors and print is a subtle and comfy way to adopt the leopard print trend.

I love the colors in this blouse, the pussy bow, and the ruffles.  Yes, there's a lot going on but it works. This is the type of blouse you don't want to cover up.

Everyone needs a black blouse with pretty details that aren't covered up when you put on a cardigan, blazer or coat.

A cashmere poncho is adding a little luxury to your life.  It's a great item to throw over a long sleeve tee, leggings and sneakers to run errands over the weekend.

This camo moto jacket is a nice change from my typical leather jacket that I typically grab on the weekends.

I love this sweater coat and all others, to be honest.  find them so versatile and effortless. They help make a tee and jeans look more put together. This one also comes in burgundy and grey.

I love the sleeves on this pullover that also comes in grey.  The sleeve detail makes this top anything but basic.

I think this is a decent price for this cute and cool boxy moto jacket.

This pontelle sweater is the perfect way to wear pastels as the weather gets cooler, and the slight balloon sleeve is that extra detail that makes this sweater extra special.

You need to be tall to wear this belted coat from Zara. I think it looks like it's made by a high-end designer. Couldn't you see it having a Vice or Theory label inside?  This short coat with scarf also looks like it's from a designer brand.  Yes, it's a lot of coat, but someone with height could pull it off.

Why have a plain solid boring raincoat when you can have this leopard raincoat

I'm loving this mustard textured coat.  I love the color and texture.  It's available in black too, if you're not a fan of color.  I tend to be drawn to darker colors so they don't show dirt (remember I live in NYC).  Personally, I like a fun color that's not your typical black, tan or grey or I'm drawn to a fabulous design detail or texture so that my coat isn't plain. Your coat is something that should speak volumes about your style because that's the only thing people will see you wearing for many months.  Maybe that's why I have so many coats.  Everyone has different moods, so it's hard to have just one coat, which is why Zara is so great. Zara's prices allow you to get more than one. Yes, you can invest in one expensive designer coat, which is fine, but I couldn't have just one coat.  I get bored too quickly.  What are your thoughts on coats? Do you have many or one investment coat?

Thanks for stopping by to visit.  I truly appreciate it.  Please let me know if you'd like me to cover something you're interested in.  I'll do the work for you by researching a few options at your price point.
