Summer Saturday

Went to Warby Parker to get an eye exam. I need it to renew my drivers licence because my license says I’m required to wear glasses. I am almost totally blind in one eye, which is nothing new. It’s been that way since I had surgery when I was five or six. I also need to renew my contact prescription. Lately, I was having a harder time reading with my lenses (it’s never been clear), so now I need reading glasses for when I wear my lenses. Stupid, I know, but I never though about wearing glasses with lenses, so i would struggle to read. I hardly wear my glasses, so no need to get new glasses; however, If I wore my glasses daily, the doctor said I would need to get progressives. I decided to get the Harris sunglasses in black below and change them to readers. I love them as sunglasses too. So, if you’re in the market for sunnies, they look like Celine without the price tag.

Warby Parker is near Madewell, so I brought a pair of jeans to recycle. While there I saw these fun crazy pants in an ad. They didn’t have them in store, so i ordered them. Sizes are running very low and they just got them. I also bout the rainbow beaded necklace, which was on major sale. I thought it would add something fun to a tee and jeans. I also tried on white dress with the rick rack. The small was too big and the xs was too small. Too bad it didn’t work b/c all dresses were 20 percent off. I also tried on the palm print midi dress. The xs was a perfect fit but I didn’t love the print. It didn’t go with a ton of shoes. Basically you can wear navy or brown/neutral shoes with it. It was a like but not a love.

I really like these.
