Fab finds for Feb
I’m a big fan of Alexa Chung’s style, so when I heard she launched sunglasses in collaboration with Sunglass Hut, I was psyched. There are two styles, one is a updated aviator here and the other has a square frame here. Lately I’ve been craving anything that’s not the everyday typical and perhaps not everyone’s cup of tee, so, I’m loving the modern aviator with a bit of an Elvis vibe. Below, you can watch Alexa’s runway show to see the glasses in action.
Brand love - Faithfull The Brand. I’ve never tried on their clothes, but I’m loving what I’m seeing and the prices are reasonable. Has anyone familiar with the brand? I’m curious about the fit. Click on the images for more information. Here are some of my favorites:
I’m a huge fan and have many pairs of Loeffler Randall shoes. They just released their spring line. Click on the images for more information. Here are my favorite picks:
I had been wearing Smashbox primer for quite a while. I was running low and instead of reordering, I wanted to try something new and I’m so glad I did. First Aid Beauty’s (FAB) Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer is fantastic. It saves a step of using two separate products and It’s safe for sensitive skin. I didn’t realize that the Smashbox primer was better for oily skin. It kept most of my makeup in tact, but my highlighter wouldn’t last and I didn’t have the dewy look that I like. My glow was gone. The FAB version has micro pearls, so if you don’t like a bit of sheen, this isn’t for you. It doesn’t show up on your skin as sparkles or anything, it just gives you a lovely lit from within look.. My skin stays moisturized and my makeup lasts all day including my highlighter. Click on the images for more information.
I’ve been using Anastasia brow gel since January and it’s great for keeping brows in place and adding a bit of color, but I still needed something to fill in some sparse spots. Anastasia Brow Wiz does the trick. The combo creates a bold brow that still looks natural and lasts all day.
