What's Chic This Week

I went to get my very first Invisalign tray, and my dentist’s office is conveniently located near Fifth Avenue, an area packed with a variety of stores such as Mango, Uniqlo, and Zara. I generally prefer not to make purchases from these brands online unless I have had the chance to see and feel the items firsthand. With that in mind, here are a few pieces I either bought or noticed during my visit.

I bought the short version (see above), which I plan to wear as a blazer. It also happens to be part of the Labor Day sale, making it an even better deal.

As soon as I saw this, I immediately wanted it, but I felt the need to see it in person based on the price before making a decision. The material is soft to the touch, not overly thick, which makes it comfortable to wear, and I really love the design of the buttons.

When I recently visited Toteme, one of the salespeople caught my eye because they were wearing a grey V-neck cashmere sweater paired with long black Bermuda shorts. I absolutely loved the combination and the effortless vibe it gave off. Now that the season has shifted to fall, I no longer need the shorts, but I still really want to find a similar grey cashmere sweater to add to my wardrobe. I picked up this cashmere in medium and it was perfectly oversized and slouchy. I would have gotten black, but I already have a black V-neck. It’s not overly thick, so it’s perfect on its own for early fall when it’s not too chilly or as a layering piece as temps start dipping lower.

I also noticed this blazer displayed on a women’s mannequin, and when I inquired about it, the sales associate mentioned that it was actually a unisex piece and suggested I check the men’s section for more options, which I promptly did. I was specifically looking for a brown blazer to fill a gap in my wardrobe, but after trying it on, I’m considering purchasing the grey one next as well. I ended up buying the blazer in an XS size.

II have these in black and absolutely love them. The brown and black are currently on sale, which makes them an even better deal. Although I’m petite, I still prefer the regular inseam.

If I didn’t have too many coats (I have an addiction), I would have grabbed this one.

I don’t have boots with flat heels, so these stood out to me.

It's not available yet, but I put my name on the waitlist.

A few splurgy suede jackets that are definitely worth a double click.

I’m starting to feel tired, so I’ll share more with you next week. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit.
