Some fall favorites

I grabbed this heather warm caramel sweater at 40 percent off. It’s available in seven other colors and the button detail makes it more than just another crew neck.

I was reading responses to a beauty blogger’s Instagram story asking for her follower’s favorite drug store products and an overwhelming number responded with RoC Daily Resurfacing Disks. I remembered them on my last visit to the drug store and boy am I happy I did. I love them. They cleanse, exfoliate, and diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles. The self-foaming disks are filled with conditioning cleansers and feature a textured side for exfoliating as well as a smooth side for cleansing. RoC claims the disks are clinically proven to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and improve skin's tone and texture. Even though they exfoliate, they are gentle enough for everyday use. The disks are soap-free, oil-free, hypoallergenic, and non-comedogenic. They take every drop of makeup off my face and they get the dead skin off gently. As the weather gets cooler, and my skin gets drier, these will come in very handy.

I fell in love with the boots shown in the Celine fall/winter 2019 show. Well, I found a pair that’s very close. They may not look great on someone my height. They would probably come up to my earlobe, but I need to start saving now to find out. Photo: Isidore Montag
