All about accessories

Now that it’s August, I’m trying to focus more on accessories rather than clothes because unfortunately summer is almost over. Any clothes I’m looking at need to be able to transition to fall or have a fall feel.

M. Gemi, known for their Italian made shoes, has launched Via Italia, a collection of unique made-in-Italy finds. The launch starts with sunglasses in four styles and a bamboo shopper available in three striped versions and two solids that can be monogrammed.

I’m trying to focus on transitional clothing, so I thought this top was perfect. It’s light and still a little summery but the caramel color is a nod to fall. It also comes it white and black. I like that I don’t have this caramel color in my wardrobe. In my opinion, you can’t see the detail in the black and I have way too many white blouses.

I love hair accessories now that my hair is getting longer. You can find some really fun headbands and barrettes here. at Zara. There are so many I liked that I had to narrow it down to two headbands to prevent myself from spending hundreds. I especially like the padded versions because they don’t hurt after a few hours of wearing them.

One of my favorite footwear and handbag brands, Loeffler Randall, recently launched accessories including headbands, barrettes, belts and hats. Last week they added jewelry to the mix. Some of my favorites include their hoops in gold and tortoise, which are both great for fall and this feather belt that makes a statement and can transform an outfit in under a minute.

Here are some of my Shopbop favorites this week.

If you’re unfamiliar with Nanushka, the designer is known for vegan leather clothes and accessories. I’m loving their new bag below that reminds me of old Celine.

Thanks for visiting. I’d love to know what you are loving.
